Custom Crystal Bracelet by GemKrishna

How to Use GemKrishna’s Custom Bracelet Builder: A Step-by-Step Guide

Published: 9 September 2026

Design Your Own Natural Gemstone Bracelet with GemKrishna

A gemstone bracelet should be made for your wrist, personal style and preferred combination of stones—not restricted to a ready-made design.

The GemKrishna Custom Bracelet Builder allows you to design a personalised natural gemstone bracelet online. You can select your wrist size, choose between 8 mm and 10 mm beads, combine two to six gemstones, view a visual preview, select your preferred lock and arrangement, add special instructions and receive an independent laboratory report with your finished bracelet.

Every custom bracelet is carefully hand-strung at GemKrishna’s workshop in New Delhi using AAA-quality gemstone beads.

HOW DOES THE GEMKRISHNA CUSTOM BRACELET BUILDER WORK?

The GemKrishna Custom Bracelet Builder follows seven simple steps:

  1. Choose your wrist size
  2. Choose your bead size
  3. Select two to six gemstones
  4. Confirm the included laboratory report
  5. Choose your lock type
  6. Choose the bracelet arrangement
  7. Review your complete order

You can also add a custom design note, choose a free crystal gift and save your unfinished bracelet design to the cart.

STEP 1: CHOOSE YOUR WRIST SIZE

Begin by measuring the wrist on which you plan to wear the bracelet.

Place a soft measuring tape directly around your wrist, preferably just below the wrist bone. The tape should touch the skin without squeezing it. Do not measure too tightly and do not leave an unnecessary gap.

After taking the skin-to-skin measurement, add approximately 0.5 inch for a comfortable fit and select the corresponding size in the Bracelet Builder.

For example, if your skin-to-skin wrist measurement is 6.5 inches, select approximately 7 inches for a comfortable fit.

The builder currently provides wrist-size options from 4 to 9.5 inches in 0.25-inch steps, helping customers choose a more accurate size.

NO MEASURING TAPE? DOWNLOAD THE PRINTABLE A4 WRIST RULER

If you do not have a flexible measuring tape at home, GemKrishna provides a downloadable A4 wrist-measuring ruler inside Step 1.

Download the PDF, print it on A4 paper and select “Actual Size” or “100% Scale” in your printer settings. Do not select “Fit to Page,” because this can change the measurements.

Cut out the printed ruler and wrap it around your wrist to obtain an approximate skin-to-skin measurement.

Providing a downloadable wrist ruler directly inside the Custom Bracelet Builder makes it much easier to order a properly fitted custom bracelet from home.

STEP 2: CHOOSE YOUR BEAD SIZE

GemKrishna currently offers two bead sizes in the Custom Bracelet Builder: 8 mm and 10 mm.

8 MM BEADS

The 8 mm bead size is recommended for most customers. It is a comfortable and balanced unisex size suitable for both men and women.

An 8 mm bracelet works well for:

• Everyday wear
• Men and women
• Medium and slimmer wrists
• Wearing alone or with a watch
• Customers who prefer a balanced appearance

GemKrishna recommends 8 mm beads for most custom bracelets.

10 MM BEADS

Choose the 10 mm option if you prefer larger and more prominent gemstone beads.

A 10 mm bracelet has a bolder and bulkier appearance. It is suitable for customers who specifically like substantial bracelets or want the gemstones to look more noticeable on the wrist.

Because these are natural gemstone beads rather than machine-made glass beads, their diameter may vary by approximately ±0.5 mm.

STEP 3: SELECT TWO TO SIX GEMSTONES

The next step is to choose the gemstones for your bracelet.

You must select a minimum of two gemstones and can combine up to six different gemstones in one custom bracelet.

The builder currently contains approximately 30 natural gemstone and bead options. GemKrishna regularly updates the available selection according to customer demand and gemstone availability.

The collection includes popular options such as:

• Amethyst
• Citrine
• Clear Quartz
• Rose Quartz
• Green Aventurine
• Green Jade
• Pyrite
• Tiger’s Eye
• Black Tourmaline
• Black Obsidian
• Carnelian
• Moonstone
• Labradorite
• Lapis Lazuli
• Smoky Quartz
• Sunstone
• Rudraksha
• Selenite

The search box can be used to find a gemstone by its English name, Indian trade name, Hindi name or commonly associated intention.

NATURAL, UNTREATED AND TRANSPARENTLY DISCLOSED GEMSTONES

GemKrishna uses natural gemstone material and AAA-quality beads for its custom bracelets.

Except for the Howlite trade-name option, the gemstone options used in the builder are natural and untreated.

The option commonly sold as Howlite in the commercial bead market is dyed magnesite. This is a widely followed jewellery trade practice and is openly disclosed by GemKrishna for complete transparency. Genuine natural Howlite is not commonly available at ordinary bracelet-bead price points.

Dyed magnesite is widely used in gemstone bracelets under the Howlite trade name and is selected for similar traditional intentions. Crystal associations are based on personal and spiritual beliefs and should not be treated as medical claims.

Because natural gemstones are formed by nature, the colour, transparency, markings, banding and patterns of the finished beads may differ slightly from the preview images. These natural variations make every bracelet unique.

VIEW YOUR CUSTOM BRACELET PREVIEW

As you select gemstones, the GemKrishna Bracelet Builder creates a visual representation of your bracelet.

The preview allows you to compare different colour combinations and understand how the chosen gemstones may look together. It gives you greater control over the final appearance before placing your order.

The preview is for visual guidance. Since every natural bead has its own colour and markings, the actual bracelet may vary slightly from the digital representation.

STEP 4: CONFIRM YOUR INDEPENDENT LABORATORY REPORT

An independent gemmological laboratory report is already included in the custom bracelet price. There is no extra charge for it.

Every customised bracelet receives its own separate GJSPC laboratory report with a unique identification number. The gemstones used in the bracelet are identified in the report.

This means the report is issued for your particular finished bracelet instead of being a general certificate shown for multiple products.

Sample GJSPC laboratory reports are displayed inside Step 4 of the Custom Bracelet Builder. Customers can open these sample images to understand the report format before ordering.

This independent gemstone identification makes the builder suitable for customers looking for a lab-certified custom gemstone bracelet with transparent gemstone details.

STEP 5: CHOOSE YOUR LOCK TYPE

GemKrishna currently offers four closure options:

• Stretchable Elastic
• Golden GemSnap Closure
• Silver GemSnap Closure
• Black GemSnap Closure

STRETCHABLE ELASTIC

Elastic is the recommended option for simple and comfortable daily wear. It stretches over the hand, does not require a clasp and can adjust to a small variation in wrist size.

Depending on the bracelet’s bead count and elastic tension, an elastic bracelet can generally accommodate approximately 0.5 to 1 inch of wrist-size variation. However, providing an accurate measurement is still recommended for the best fit.

GemKrishna uses high-quality elastic that is passed through the bracelet four times to improve its strength and long-term durability.

GEMSNAP CLOSURES

Golden, silver and black GemSnap closures provide a more structured and stylish jewellery-like finish.

These bracelets are made using nylon thread looped four times. The closure is carefully secured with adhesive to improve durability.

Golden GemSnap provides a warm, premium appearance. Silver GemSnap offers a clean and versatile finish, while Black GemSnap works especially well with darker or more masculine bracelet combinations.

All four closure options are currently included without an additional lock charge.

STEP 6: CHOOSE YOUR BRACELET ARRANGEMENT

The bracelet arrangement determines how your selected gemstones will be placed around the wrist.

GemKrishna provides four arrangement options:

CLASSIC EQUAL PATTERN

All selected gemstones are repeated in a balanced pattern around the bracelet. This works well when you want every chosen stone to have a similar visual presence.

ALTERNATING PATTERN

The selected gemstones alternate around the bracelet. This option is especially suitable for two-stone combinations or gemstones with contrasting colours.

CENTRE-STONE HIGHLIGHT

One gemstone is placed prominently at the centre while the remaining gemstones are arranged around it. Choose this arrangement when you want one particular stone to become the bracelet’s visual focus.

EXPERT DESIGN CHOICE

Select this option if you want the GemKrishna team to arrange your selected gemstones for the most balanced finished appearance.

The experienced design option is GemKrishna’s recommended choice for customers who know which gemstones they want but are unsure about the best arrangement.

ADD A CUSTOM BEAD-BY-BEAD DESIGN NOTE

If you want an arrangement that is more specific than the four available presets, use the Custom Note field.

You can mention:

• Which gemstone should be placed at the centre
• Which stone should be used more prominently
• The exact repeating sequence
• Whether the design should be symmetrical
• Any preferred colour arrangement
• Other special bracelet-making instructions

The GemKrishna team will follow clear and technically possible custom instructions while making the bracelet. The Custom Note field currently allows up to 200 characters.

STEP 7: REVIEW YOUR ORDER

Before placing the order, carefully review the complete order summary.

Confirm the following details:

• Selected gemstones
• Wrist size
• Bead size
• Approximate bead count
• GJSPC laboratory report
• Lock type and colour
• Bracelet arrangement
• Custom design note
• Free crystal gift
• Estimated price

The final price is confirmed at checkout.

If you are not ready to complete the purchase, you can use “Save Draft to Cart” to keep the custom bracelet configuration in your shopping cart.

SELECT YOUR FREE CRYSTAL GIFT

Every custom bracelet order includes one free crystal gift.

You can choose any one of the available gift options shown inside the builder. These are natural crystal products that can be selected according to your preference or to complement the traditional properties associated with your bracelet.

If another gift is not selected, GemKrishna includes a free raw Selenite plate by default.

Only one free gift can be selected per order, and it is added at checkout at zero cost.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

HOW MANY GEMSTONES CAN I ADD TO ONE BRACELET?

You must select at least two and can combine up to six different gemstones.

WHICH BEAD SIZE DOES GEMKRISHNA RECOMMEND?

GemKrishna recommends 8 mm beads for most people. It is a balanced unisex size suitable for men and women. Choose 10 mm if you prefer a bulkier and more prominent bracelet.

DOES THE CUSTOM BRACELET INCLUDE A LABORATORY REPORT?

Yes. Every custom bracelet includes a separate GJSPC laboratory report carrying a unique identification number. The gemstones used in the bracelet are identified in the report, and no additional laboratory-report charge is added.

CAN I CHOOSE THE POSITION OF THE BEADS?

Yes. Choose one of the four arrangement presets or describe a specific bead-by-bead design in the Custom Note field.

WHICH LOCK IS SUITABLE FOR DAILY WEAR?

Stretchable elastic is generally the most convenient choice for regular wear. Golden, silver and black GemSnap closures are suitable for customers who prefer a more structured and stylish finish.

WHAT IF I DO NOT HAVE A MEASURING TAPE?

Download the printable A4 wrist ruler from Step 1. Print it at 100% or Actual Size, cut it out and use it to measure your wrist.
