Custom Rudraksha Kantha builder
Make your own custom Kantha
A Kantha is a Rudraksha mala worn around the neck. Choose a Siddh Mala or Indra Mala, the origin and size of every main bead, the back chain and how it is made. We string it by hand in New Delhi.
Choose your Mala
Choose the origin
The Mala decides which beads you need. The origin decides which beads can fill each place. With two origins you still choose one bead for each place.
Main beads and sizes
Each place needs one bead and a bead size that you select. No size is chosen for you. Sizes are listed from smallest to largest, with the price per bead. Beads marked "Ask for price" or "Ask for availability" are quoted by our team; include them in your quotation request and tell us the size you want.
Length and back chain
Optional. The back chain is the part that goes up and around the back of the neck, above your main beads. Choose back chain beads, or a plain thread with no back chain beads. Your main beads, Gauri Shankar and the 1 Mukhi stay the same either way. The Kantha making price depends on this choice.

Illustration with approximate proportions. Natural Rudraksha vary in shape, colour and size.
A Siddh Mala (also written Siddha Mala) has one each of 1 to 14 Mukhi Rudraksha, plus a Ganesh Rudraksha and a Gauri Shankar Rudraksha: 16 main beads. The back chain is counted separately.
In traditional practice it brings together the deities associated with each Mukhi. These are beliefs, not guaranteed effects.
An Indra Mala has one each of 1 to 21 Mukhi Rudraksha, plus a Ganesh Rudraksha and a Gauri Shankar Rudraksha: 23 main beads. The back chain is counted separately.
Nepal 16 to 21 Mukhi are sold on request only, so an Indra Mala that uses them is always quoted by our team.
Your Kantha includes a GJSPC Laboratory report documenting the identifying characteristics of the Rudraksha examined. GJSPC is an independent laboratory in New Delhi.
The report for a Siddh Mala is valued at ₹1,500 and for an Indra Mala at ₹3,000. It is included free with your Kantha. A basic GJSPC report is valued at ₹350; your Kantha gets the Siddh or Indra report, not an extra basic report.
The report describes the beads examined. It does not test or promise spiritual benefits.
Rudraksha sizes are given as a range in millimetres across the bead, for example 14-16 mm. Larger beads of the same Mukhi are usually rarer and cost more.
"Ask for availability" means we source that size on request. "Ask for price" means we quote it personally because prices vary widely.
Dhaga with 1 Mukhi basket: beads strung on strong thread (dhaga); the 1 Mukhi sits in a basket fitting.
Silver capping in thread: 925 sterling silver caps on the beads, strung on thread.
Silver capping in wire: 925 sterling silver caps joined with silver wire. Priced at the day's silver rate, so we quote it.
All-silver construction: silver connections throughout, in the design you choose. Quoted by our team.

Rudraksha bead sizes and prices
Each main bead has its own size choice, listed from smallest to largest in millimetres with the price per bead. Some sizes are sourced on request. Nepal 16 to 21 Mukhi are always quoted personally, because their prices vary widely.
Thread and silver construction
Choose dhaga (thread) with a 1 Mukhi basket, silver capping in thread, silver capping in wire, or an all-silver construction. A silver-capped Rudraksha mala uses 925 sterling silver caps.
