We've just added a new way to shop at GemKrishna: the Bracelet Finder. Instead of scrolling through the whole catalogue, you choose either what you need or your rashi, and it designs a crystal bracelet for you, right down to the bead count for your wrist and the exact price. This post walks through every screen, every option and every button, so you know exactly what to expect before you try it.
Open the Bracelet Finder in another tab and follow along.
The finder at a glance
- Two ways in: choose by what you need (calm, confidence, love, abundance, focus, protection or spiritual practice) or by your rashi (Vedic moon sign).
- Real beads, not drawings: the bracelet you see is built from the actual bead photographs used in our Custom Bracelet Builder.
- A live mini builder: the result screen lets you change wrist size, bead size, lock and arrangement, with the bead count and price updating as you go.
- Price: ₹999 for 8 mm beads, ₹1,249 for 10 mm beads, including the lock, an independent GJSPC lab report and delivery across India.
- Three next steps: add the design straight to your cart, open it in the full Custom Bracelet Builder to fine-tune it, or send it to us on WhatsApp.
- Everything is a traditional belief, clearly labelled: the intentions behind each stone and the rashi associations are traditional beliefs, not guaranteed effects or medical claims.
Step 1: choose how you want to begin
The page opens with two cards, and there's no wrong choice, they just start you from a different question.
- By what you need: for calm, confidence, love, focus and more.
- By your rashi: your Vedic moon sign, its ruling planet (graha) and the stones traditionally linked to it.
Path A: choose by what you need
Tap this card and you're shown seven needs. You can pick one or two; picking two blends stones from both.
- Calm and stress relief: amethyst, blue lace agate, moonstone, lepidolite.
- Confidence and courage: tiger's eye, carnelian, sunstone, pyrite.
- Love and relationships: rose quartz, rhodonite, peach moonstone, garnet.
- Abundance and prosperity: citrine, pyrite, green aventurine, moss agate.
- Focus and clarity: clear quartz (sphatik), fluorite, blue apatite, tiger's eye.
- Protection and grounding: black tourmaline, hematite, black obsidian, smoky quartz.
- Spiritual practice: 5 mukhi rudraksha, karungali, clear quartz, selenite.
Tap "Show my bracelet" and the finder moves straight to the result screen, already built from the stones for your chosen need (or a blend of two).
Path B: choose by your rashi
Tap this card instead and the finder first explains something a lot of customers ask us on WhatsApp: your rashi is your moon sign, not your sun sign. It's the sign the Moon was in when you were born, which is why it often differs from the sign in a magazine horoscope that's worked out from your birth date alone.
Below that, all 12 rashis are shown in Hindi and English, so you can tap the one you know by either name. Choose one, and the finder shows you, all on one screen:
- Your ruling planet (graha), its day of the week and its traditional colour.
- The main ratna (gemstone) linked to that planet, such as Ruby (Manik) for the Sun or Blue Sapphire (Neelam) for Saturn, with a clear note that a main ratna should be chosen from your full birth chart (kundli), not from your rashi alone.
- The common uparatna, the traditional substitute stones worn instead of the main ratna.
- The matching rudraksha mukhi for that planet.
- A crystal bracelet built from that planet's traditional stones, ready on the result screen.
Here's how the 12 rashis group by ruling planet and traditional crystal, which is what the finder builds your bracelet from:
- Mesh and Vrishchik (Mangal / Mars): carnelian and red jasper.
- Vrishabh and Tula (Shukra / Venus): clear quartz (sphatik) and milky quartz.
- Mithun and Kanya (Budh / Mercury): green aventurine and green jade.
- Karka (Chandra / Moon): moonstone.
- Singh (Surya / Sun): garnet and sunstone.
- Dhanu and Meen (Guru / Jupiter): citrine and yellow aventurine.
- Makar and Kumbh (Shani / Saturn): amethyst and lapis lazuli.
These are traditional Vedic associations, and different astrologers describe the uparatna and rudraksha pairings slightly differently, so if you're choosing a stone for a specific astrological remedy, please check with your astrologer or with us on WhatsApp before you buy.
On the rashi path, the result screen also shows a matching bracelet from our Zodiac Sign Bracelets collection, in case you'd rather buy a ready-made piece for your sign instead of building a custom one.
Don't know your rashi?
There's a third option here: "I don't know my rashi." Your rashi depends on your date, time and place of birth, so it can't be worked out from your birth month the way a sun sign can. Tap this and it takes you to WhatsApp, where you can send us your birth details and our team will work out your rashi for you, free of charge.
The result screen: a mini bracelet builder
Whichever path you took, you land on the same kind of result screen, and this is where the finder stops being a quiz and starts being a builder.
- An animated bead ring. Your suggested beads drop into place in a ring, in their real colours.
- Tap a bead to see its name. Every bead in the ring is tappable, so you can check exactly which stone you're looking at.
- Change your wrist size. Enter your measurement and the bead count recalculates immediately.
- Switch between 8 mm and 10 mm beads. 8 mm suits most wrists and everyday wear; 10 mm gives a bolder look and is a common choice for men's bracelets.
- Choose your lock. Stretchable elastic, or a golden, silver or black GemSnap lock.
- Choose an arrangement. How your chosen stones repeat around the bracelet.
- The bead count and price update live as you change any of these, so you always see exactly what you're about to order before you commit.
How the bead count is worked out
The finder uses the exact same formula as our Custom Bracelet Builder: your wrist size in inches × 25 ÷ the bead size in millimetres, plus one bead for comfort. If you choose a GemSnap lock, it takes the place of one bead, and the finder adjusts the count automatically.
Worked example: a 7-inch wrist takes 23 beads at 8 mm, or 19 beads at 10 mm.
Real bead photography
The beads you see on the result screen aren't illustrations. The finder draws on the same bead photographs used in our Custom Bracelet Builder, so what you see in the ring is a genuinely close match to what arrives at your door.
Three ways to take it further
Once you're happy with the design on the result screen, there are three buttons.
Add to cart
This adds your exact design straight to your cart, with the same detail our Custom Bracelet Builder records against every custom order: your chosen stones by their English and Hindi trade names, wrist size, bead count, lock type, arrangement and a note that a lab report is included, plus a unique Bracelet Reference ID so our karigars know precisely what to make. Just like an order placed through the builder, a free gift (a raw selenite plate, for cleansing your new bracelet) is added alongside it at no extra cost.
Customise in the builder
Not quite right? This opens the full Custom Bracelet Builder with your finder design already filled in: your stones, wrist size, bead size, lock and arrangement all carry across, and you can then pick anywhere from 2 to 12 stones, add spacers or engraving, or change anything else the full builder offers.
Ask us on WhatsApp
Prefer a person? This sends your exact design to our team on WhatsApp at +91 76782 75972, and we'll help you refine it, answer any questions about your rashi or your stones, or just confirm you've got the right bracelet before you buy. This guidance is free and unlimited.
What comes with every bracelet from the finder
- An independent GJSPC lab report with its own unique number, identifying every gemstone in your bracelet.
- A photo of your finished bracelet to approve before it ships, the same as with every custom order.
- Free delivery across India, dispatched within 24 hours of confirmation.
- Basic energisation, using traditional Vedic practice, included at no extra cost.
Pricing
- 8 mm beads: ₹999
- 10 mm beads: ₹1,249
Both prices include your chosen lock, the lab report and delivery. Adding premium beads, spacers or engraving in the full builder adds their own listed price, shown before you check out.
Why we built this
Most people who message us on WhatsApp start with a question, not an order: "which stone is right for me?" or "what should I wear for my rashi?" The Bracelet Finder is our attempt to answer that question instantly, on the site, using the same stones, the same bead-count formula and the same pricing as the team behind our Custom Bracelet Builder already uses every day. It doesn't replace our WhatsApp guidance, which stays free and unlimited, it just gives you a starting point you can see, tap apart and adjust before you ever need to ask us anything.
Frequently asked questions
What does the Bracelet Finder do?
It suggests a crystal bracelet based on either what you need (calm, confidence, love and so on) or your Vedic rashi, using the same stones, bead-count formula and pricing as our Custom Bracelet Builder. You can then add it to your cart, customise it further, or send it to us on WhatsApp.
Is my rashi the same as my sun sign?
No. Your rashi is your moon sign, the sign the Moon was in when you were born, and it's often different from the sun sign worked out from your birth date alone. If you don't know your rashi, send us your date, time and place of birth on WhatsApp and we'll tell you, free of charge.
Should I buy a main ratna just because it matches my rashi?
No. A main ratna, such as Blue Sapphire (Neelam) or Ruby (Manik), should be chosen from your full birth chart (kundli), not from your rashi alone. Please check with your astrologer, or message us on WhatsApp and we'll guide you.
How many beads will my bracelet have?
Your wrist size in inches × 25 ÷ the bead size in millimetres, plus one bead for comfort. A 7-inch wrist takes 23 beads at 8 mm or 19 beads at 10 mm. The finder works this out for you automatically and updates it live if you change your wrist size or bead size.
Can I change the stones the finder suggests?
Yes. Tap "Customise in the builder" to open the full Custom Bracelet Builder with your design already filled in, where you can choose any 2 to 12 stones, or send the design to us on WhatsApp and we'll help you adjust it.
Does a bracelet from the finder come with a lab report?
Yes. Every bracelet from the finder ships with an independent GJSPC lab report with its own unique number, and we send you a photo of your finished bracelet to approve before it ships.
How much does it cost?
₹999 with 8 mm beads or ₹1,249 with 10 mm beads, including your chosen lock, the lab report and delivery across India.
