GemKrishna India · Kirti Nagar, New Delhi
Diwali 2026 falls later than usual: Dhanteras is on Friday 6 November, Lakshmi Puja on Sunday 8 November, and Bhai Dooj on Tuesday 10 November. That gives you a little more time than most years, but not as much as it seems, because anything made to order needs a week before it ships.
This guide is organised the way people actually shop for Diwali: by what the gift is for, and by budget. Everything listed is real, in stock or made to order, and priced.

For Dhanteras: buying silver
Buying metal on Dhanteras is one of the oldest Diwali customs. Silver is the practical choice: meaningful, affordable, and something people actually keep.
- Silver coins, 1 g, in 999 fine and 925 sterling — ₹600. The traditional Dhanteras purchase and the easiest gift to give in numbers.
- 925 silver Lakshmi and Ganesha murtis — from ₹10,999, and a Lakshmi Ganesha set at ₹18,999. Bought on Dhanteras, placed for Lakshmi Puja.
- Silver god pendants — from ₹999, including Lakshmi, Ganesha, Kuber and Krishna.
- Plain wide silver bands by weight and men's silver bracelets by weight — for anyone who wants the metal itself to be the point.
How to buy silver sensibly: check the gram weight, which is in the title of every GemKrishna silver piece, against the day's silver rate. The difference is the making charge, which is the part you are really judging. Most of our silver is BIS hallmarked, and anything that is not can be hallmarked with a HUID at checkout for ₹249. Our per-gram price guide shows exactly what we charge.
For the puja and the home mandir
- 925 silver Laddoo Gopal, 108.6 g — ₹35,500
- Ganesh ji carved in natural gemstones — from ₹999, in citrine, pyrite, jade, amethyst and more
- Coral Ganesh carvings — from ₹4,499
- Pyrite and crystal tortoises — from ₹699, kept in the north for prosperity
- Jaap malas — from ₹799, for Lakshmi or Ganesh mantra
Every murti and carving is energised with pran pratishtha at our mandir before it is dispatched.
