Rudraksha origins you can choose from

Nepal Rudraksha

Nepal beads are generally larger, with deep, well-defined mukhi lines. On this page Nepal beads are offered from 14–16 mm to 38–40 mm, across 1 to 18 Mukhi, Gauri Shankar, Garbh Gauri and Ganesh. 16, 17 and 18 Mukhi Nepal beads are sold on enquiry.

Indonesian (Java) Rudraksha

Indonesian beads are smaller and denser, which makes them popular for malas, kanthas and bracelets with many beads. They are offered from 6–8 mm to 24–26 mm, from 1 Mukhi to 21 Mukhi plus Gauri Shankar, Garbh Gauri and Ganesh.

How to choose a Rudraksha bead size

What the size in mm means

Each size is a range in millimetres, such as 14–16 mm, measured across the bead. Every size of a bead is a separate option with its own price: the same Mukhi usually costs more as the bead gets bigger, so a larger bead is a choice, not a requirement.

Which size suits what you are making

  • Malas and kanthas with many beads: smaller beads keep the strand light and comfortable. Our Jaap mala builder uses 8 mm and 10 mm beads.
  • Bracelets: mid-size beads sit comfortably on the wrist. The Rudraksha bracelet builder shows how your chosen beads fit together.
  • A single bead or centrepiece: larger beads make the mukhi lines easier to see, and can be capped in 925 silver in the Kantha builder.

Comparing options on this page

  1. Filter by origin and Mukhi to see only the beads you are considering.
  2. Pick a bead size in the filter to see which beads come in that size. Sizes that match stay highlighted on each card.
  3. Use budget and price sorting to compare. Each card lists every size with its price, so you can compare sizes side by side.
  4. Tap the size you want on the bead you want. The price and cart button update to that exact size.

Not sure which size or Mukhi to choose? Message us on WhatsApp and we will share photos and help you choose.

Frequently asked questions

Are these Rudraksha beads natural?

Yes. Every bead on this page is a natural Rudraksha and is X-rayed and lab tested by GJSPC Laboratory, New Delhi, with its own lab report.

Is the lab report included in the price?

Yes. The GJSPC lab report comes with the bead; it is not a separate paid add-on on this page.

What is the difference between Nepal and Indonesian Rudraksha?

Nepal beads are generally larger with deeper mukhi lines and are offered here from 14–16 mm to 38–40 mm. Indonesian (Java) beads are smaller and denser and are offered from 6–8 mm to 24–26 mm. Both are natural Rudraksha; the right choice depends on the size you want and your budget.

Why does the price change when I choose a size?

Each size is a separate option with its own price. Larger beads of the same Mukhi are rarer, so they usually cost more. The price you see after choosing a size is the price charged in your cart.

Can I get a size that is not listed?

Some sizes, and Nepal 16 to 18 Mukhi beads, are available on enquiry. Message us on WhatsApp with the Mukhi, origin and size you need and we will check availability.

Can I turn these beads into a bracelet or mala?

Yes. Use the Rudraksha bracelet, Kantha or Jaap mala builders to design a finished piece, or message us for a custom design.

How long does delivery take?

Shipping is free across India. Ready orders are usually dispatched within 24 hours and customised orders within a week.

Can I return a Rudraksha bead?

Eligible products can be returned within 30 days of delivery if unused and in their original condition and packaging. Custom-made items are not eligible for a standard return. Please read the full return policy before ordering.
