Crystal Bracelets by Zodiac Sign and Rashi: All Twelve, and What They Actually Mean

Before the list, one thing that almost nobody selling zodiac bracelets in India will tell you.

There are two different systems here, and they give different answers. A Western zodiac sign is your sun sign, worked out from your birth date. A Vedic rashi is your moon sign, worked out from your birth chart — date, exact time and place. They frequently do not match. Someone born in mid-April is Aries in one system and Mesh, or often the rashi before or after it, in the other.

Almost every “crystal for your zodiac” list online uses the Western sun sign, because it only needs a birth date. Ours do the same, and we are telling you so rather than dressing it up as jyotish. It is a pleasant, well-established way to pick a stone. It is not a horoscope reading, and it is not the same thing as an astrological gemstone prescribed from your chart — which is further down this page.

Rashi, ruling planet and the traditional gemstone

This is the other system — jyotish ratna rather than crystal healing. Each rashi has a ruling planet, and each planet has a stone traditionally associated with it.

Please do not buy from this table alone. A real jyotish recommendation comes from the whole chart — house placements, dasha, the strength of the planet — not from the rashi label. The chart often calls for a stone that this table would never have suggested.

Neelam in particular is traditionally treated with caution and is not something to start wearing on a whim. Any astrologer worth listening to will say the same.

So which one should you buy?

Plainly:

• You want something meaningful, attractive and under ₹1,000 — the zodiac crystal bracelet. It is a good gift, it is certified, and nobody needs to interpret anything for you.
• An astrologer has named a specific stone and weight — that is the ratna route. Different product, different price bracket, and worth doing properly. How to wear it

• Which wrist? Traditionally the left is the receiving side and the right the giving side.
• One at a time. A zodiac bracelet plus four others is an outfit, not an intention.
• Cleanse it monthly on the selenite plate in your box — never water or salt. Our guide to cleansing and charging explains what damages which stone.

How these are made

Then we make it for you. Around 90% of what leaves here is made after the order comes in: beads hand-picked one by one, in your chosen size and arrangement, on your wrist measurement, with high-grade elastic.

Every stone is certified individually. An independent laboratory identifies it and issues a report number belonging to that piece alone, printed on the listing so you can check it yourself on the lab's website. Six labs: GJSPC, IGI, GRS Swisslab, IIGJ, GSI and GIA — on an ₹899 bracelet as much as on anything else.

Then it is cleansed and energised. Each piece rests overnight on a selenite plate, and pran pratishtha is performed at the mandir before dispatch. Basic energisation is free; fuller puja options can be chosen before ordering.

A zodiac crystal bracelet matches stones to a sign and needs only a birth date. An astrological gemstone, or ratna, is prescribed from the complete birth chart by an astrologer and is a different category of purchase.

Which gemstone is for my rashi?

Traditionally: Mesh and Vrishchik to moonga, Vrishabh and Tula to heera, Mithun and Kanya to panna, Karka to moti, Singh to manik, Dhanu and Meen to pukhraj, Makar and Kumbh to neelam. This is the rashi-level association only — a genuine recommendation comes from the whole chart.
