Zodiac Bracelets in India: All 12 Rashi Crystal Bracelets, Honestly Explained

A zodiac bracelet is a beaded bracelet made from natural crystals chosen to match a particular sun sign or rashi. At GemKrishna we make two versions for each of the 12 signs — a ₹899 dual-stone bracelet that ships with a free raw selenite plate, and a ₹1,800 six-stone bracelet. Every piece is natural stone with a lab report, dispatched from Delhi and delivered across India in 2–3 days.

This guide covers all 24 bracelets, how to pick between them, how to check whether any crystal bracelet you're shown online is genuine, and an honest answer to the question most buyers are too polite to ask us directly: does it actually do anything?

What a zodiac bracelet is — and what it isn't

A zodiac bracelet uses crystals traditionally associated with the qualities of one astrological sign. An Aries bracelet leans on stones linked to drive and grounding; a Cancer bracelet leans on stones linked to calm and intuition. The bracelet is worn the way people wear a rudraksha, a birthstone ring or a kada — as natural material with personal meaning attached to it.

It is not a prescribed astrological gemstone. That is a different thing entirely. A prescribed ratna — a ruby for a weak Sun, a blue sapphire for Saturn — is selected from a birth chart by weight, quality and mounting metal, costs many times more, and can be counter-indicated if chosen wrongly. A zodiac crystal bracelet carries no such risk and needs no prescription. If you want the chart-based route instead, that's our Kundli-based gemstone recommendation.

Zodiac bracelet vs birthstone jewellery vs rashi ratna

Zodiac crystal bracelet Birthstone jewellery Rashi ratna (astrological gemstone)
Chosen by Sun sign or rashi Birth month Full janam kundli
Needs birth time? No No Yes
Typical stones Several crystals per sign One stone per month One prescribed gemstone
Price range ₹899–₹1,800 Varies widely ₹5,000 to several lakhs
Risk of wrong choice None None Real — needs expert selection
Can you wear more than one? Yes Yes Only as advised

Sun sign or rashi — which do you go by?

The 12 signs listed further down are sun signs, worked out from your date of birth alone. This is what almost everyone means when they search for a zodiac bracelet.

In Vedic astrology your rashi is normally your moon sign, calculated from birth time and place, and it is frequently a different sign from your sun sign. Neither tradition is wrong. If you only know your birthdate, use the sun sign list. If you know your moon sign and feel more connected to it, buy for that instead. A fair number of our customers own one of each and think nothing of it.

The two GemKrishna zodiac ranges

Dual-stone zodiac bracelet Six-stone zodiac bracelet
Price ₹899 ₹1,800
Stones 2 natural crystals matched to the sign 6 natural gemstones per sign
Bead size 8mm round 8mm round
Charm Zodiac charm Zodiac charm
Free raw selenite plate Yes Yes
Lab report Yes Yes
Look Clean two-tone Multi-colour, more visually layered
Best for First crystal, gifting, everyday wear Complete stone set, occasion gifts, collectors

Both ranges use the same quality of natural stone. The ₹1,800 bracelet is not a better bracelet — it is a fuller one. You are paying for six different sourced materials in a single strand rather than two, and for the harder job of matching six stones to a consistent bead size and finish.

Why we chose these particular stones

This is the part most zodiac bracelet listings skip, so it's worth explaining.

There is no single official stone list for any sign. Different traditions disagree — Western crystal practice, Vedic astrology and the modern birthstone calendar all give different answers for the same sign. So every seller is making a choice, and most simply copy whatever the previous seller listed.

We built the dual-stone range around a deliberate principle: one stone for the sign's dominant quality, one stone to balance it. Aries gets Tiger Eye for drive and Red Jasper to ground it, because unfocused Aries energy is the actual complaint Aries buyers bring us. Pisces gets Citrine and Tiger Eye — warm, activating stones — rather than more water-element crystals, because a Pisces already has plenty of that. Cancer gets Howlite and Milky Quartz for quiet rather than anything stimulating.

The six-stone range follows the opposite logic: it gives you the traditional full set associated with the sign, without editing. Both approaches are defensible. We sell both so you can pick the one you agree with.

On sourcing — we buy direct rather than through the domestic wholesale chain, which is what lets us put a lab report on a ₹899 bracelet without the price reflecting it. Bead-grade natural stone is not expensive at source. Most of what inflates crystal pricing in India is the number of hands it passes through.

All 12 zodiac bracelets

Aries — Mesh Rashi (21 March – 19 April)

Fire sign, ruled by Mars. Decisive, direct, starts more than it finishes.

Our most-ordered zodiac bracelet by men, by a clear margin.

Taurus — Vrishabh Rashi (20 April – 20 May)

Earth sign, ruled by Venus. Patient, loyal, immovable once settled.

Gemini — Mithun Rashi (21 May – 20 June)

Air sign, ruled by Mercury. Curious, fast, comfortable with everyone.

Cancer — Karka Rashi (21 June – 22 July)

Water sign, ruled by the Moon. Protective, intuitive, absorbs the room.

  • ₹899 — Howlite & Milky Quartz. Soft white stones traditionally worn for calm and rest. Declared openly: our Howlite is dyed. Howlite is only available in treated form anywhere in the market — anyone selling "natural untreated Howlite" in colour is not telling you the truth.
  • ₹1,800 — Rhodonite, Emerald, Moonstone, Ruby, Nephrite Jade, Amber. Built around Moonstone, the classic lunar stone for this sign.

Leo — Singh Rashi (23 July – 22 August)

Fire sign, ruled by the Sun. Warm, generous, built to be seen.

Virgo — Kanya Rashi (23 August – 22 September)

Earth sign, ruled by Mercury. Precise, capable, hardest on itself.

Libra — Tula Rashi (23 September – 22 October)

Air sign, ruled by Venus. Fair, sociable, conflict-averse to its own cost.

Scorpio — Vrishchik Rashi (23 October – 21 November)

Water sign, ruled by Mars. Private, intense, all-or-nothing.

Sagittarius — Dhanu Rashi (22 November – 21 December)

Fire sign, ruled by Jupiter. Restless, blunt, already planning the next trip.

Capricorn — Makar Rashi (22 December – 19 January)

Earth sign, ruled by Saturn. Disciplined, ambitious, plays a very long game.

Aquarius — Kumbh Rashi (20 January – 18 February)

Air sign, ruled by Saturn. Independent, original, slightly ahead of the room.

Pisces — Meen Rashi (19 February – 20 March)

Water sign, ruled by Jupiter. Empathetic, imaginative, takes on other people's moods.

Zodiac bracelets by chakra

If you shop by chakra rather than by sign, this is roughly how the 12 dual-stone bracelets map. Crystal practice assigns stones to chakras by colour and traditional association, so treat this as a guide rather than a rulebook.

Chakra Associated signs in our range Stones involved
Root (Muladhara) Aries, Capricorn, Scorpio Red Jasper, Garnet, Black Obsidian
Sacral (Svadhisthana) Taurus, Virgo, Pisces Carnelian, Sunstone
Solar Plexus (Manipura) Leo, Aries, Pisces Citrine, Tiger Eye
Heart (Anahata) Gemini Green Strawberry Quartz
Throat (Vishuddha) Libra, Aquarius, Sagittarius Lapis Lazuli
Third Eye (Ajna) Aquarius Amethyst
Crown (Sahasrara) Cancer, Gemini, Virgo, Scorpio Milky Quartz, Howlite

Zodiac bracelets as couple and gift pairs

Astrology pairs each sign with its opposite across the wheel. These are the classic complementary pairings, and they make obvious two-bracelet gifts for couples, siblings and close friends.

  • Aries & Libra — action and balance
  • Taurus & Scorpio — stability and depth
  • Gemini & Sagittarius — curiosity and adventure
  • Cancer & Capricorn — care and structure
  • Leo & Aquarius — warmth and independence
  • Virgo & Pisces — precision and imagination

Two ₹899 bracelets come to ₹1,798, with two selenite plates and two lab reports. It's the most common gift combination we ship.

Does a zodiac bracelet actually work?

We'd rather answer this straight than dodge it.

There is no scientific evidence that crystals cure illness, alter events, or change outcomes in your life. Studies that have tested crystal healing found the reported effects matched what people experienced holding fake stones they believed were real. We are not going to tell you otherwise, and you should be cautious of any seller who does. Nothing we sell is a medical device or a substitute for treatment, medication or professional advice.

What a zodiac bracelet reliably is: a physical object on your wrist, tied to an intention you chose, that you notice several times a day. People find that genuinely useful — the same way a mala, a wedding ring or a written goal on a mirror is useful. That's a real effect, it's just not a mineral one.

And separately from all of it: these are attractive pieces of natural stone jewellery at a fair price, with paperwork proving the stone is what we said it was. That alone is a decent reason to own one.

We sell them on that basis. If a listing anywhere promises you a crystal will fix your finances, cure a condition or guarantee a marriage, that's a reason to close the tab.

How to tell a real crystal bracelet from a fake

Dyed quartz and moulded glass are widespread in the Indian online crystal market, especially below ₹500. Five checks that cost you nothing:

  1. Ask for the lab report before you pay. Any genuine seller will send it. We will, on request, before you order. Vagueness here answers the question by itself.
  2. Look for bubbles. Hold a bead to light. Round trapped bubbles or swirled internal streaks mean glass, not quartz. Natural stone has irregular inclusions, not perfect spheres.
  3. Check colour consistency across beads. Natural stone varies — slightly different tones, veining, small imperfections. If all 22 beads are an identical flat colour, it has almost certainly been dyed.
  4. Check the drill holes. Dye concentrates around drill holes and surface cracks. A darker ring inside the hole than on the surface is a giveaway.
  5. Apply the price test. Real amethyst, lapis or citrine at ₹149 for a full bracelet is not economically possible. Somebody in that chain is lying, and it isn't the person losing money.

One honest caveat on the other side: "treated" does not automatically mean "fake." Some stones are only ever available treated — Howlite is dyed, full stop. Our position is that treatment should be disclosed in the product title, not buried three paragraphs down. All our crystal bracelets are natural and untreated apart from the Howlite we label as such.

Getting the size right

Wrap a measuring tape or a strip of paper snugly around your wrist and note the measurement in inches. Most adults measure 6.5" to 7.5". Add roughly 0.5" for a comfortable fit on 8mm beads.

If the size comes out wrong, we remake it free and you pay only the shipping. If a strand breaks or beads are lost, we repair it free on the same terms. If the error was ours, we cover everything, shipping included.

Want a specific bead size, a stone swapped, or a combination built to your own chart? We make custom bracelets from ₹999. Custom pieces are made to order and aren't eligible for standard return, so we confirm the design with you before we start.

Wearing and caring for it

  • Which wrist? Left is the conventional choice for receiving energy, right for projecting it. Practically, wear it on your non-dominant hand so it takes less punishment.
  • Cleansing. Rest it on the raw selenite plate included with your order, overnight, about once a week. Moonlight works too. Don't soak softer stones — Selenite, Malachite and Turquoise dislike water.
  • Daily. Remove it before swimming, the gym, and before perfume or sanitiser. Alcohol and chlorine dull natural stone.
  • Storage. Keep it in its pouch, out of direct sun. Amethyst and Rose Quartz fade with prolonged sunlight.

What comes with every order

  • A lab report with every gemstone and crystal product, regardless of price. We certify through GJSPC, IGI, GRS Swiss, IIGJ, GSI and GIA. You can request the report before purchase.
  • A free raw selenite plate with every round-bead bracelet, including both zodiac ranges.
  • Delivery in 2–3 days across India via Delhivery, shipped from our Delhi base.
  • 30-day returns on standard products; you pay return shipping unless the error was ours.
  • Partial COD — 20% online at checkout, the remaining 80% collected on delivery.

Frequently asked questions

Are GemKrishna zodiac bracelets made from real natural crystals?

Yes. All our crystal bracelets are natural and untreated, and every one ships with a lab report. The sole exception we declare openly is Howlite, which exists only in dyed form anywhere in the market — we state that in the product title rather than hiding it.

Is a lab report really included with a ₹899 bracelet?

Yes. Every gemstone and crystal product we sell carries a lab report regardless of price. Certification is through GJSPC, IGI, GRS Swiss, IIGJ, GSI and GIA.

What does a zodiac bracelet cost in India?

GemKrishna zodiac bracelets are ₹899 for the dual-stone version and ₹1,800 for the six-stone version. Custom zodiac bracelets start at ₹999.

Do I get the free selenite plate with the ₹1,800 bracelet as well?

Yes. The free raw selenite plate ships with every round-bead bracelet, which covers both zodiac ranges.

Can men wear zodiac bracelets?

Yes. All our zodiac bracelets are unisex 8mm beads. Aries, Scorpio, Capricorn and Leo are ordered most often by men.

How long does delivery take?

2–3 days across India, shipped from Delhi through Delhivery.

Can I return a zodiac bracelet?

Standard products carry a 30-day return policy. You pay return shipping unless the mistake was ours. Custom-made bracelets can't be returned under the standard policy because they're built to your wrist.

Should I buy for my sun sign or my rashi?

If you only know your birthdate, use your sun sign. If you know your moon sign from your janam kundli and feel more connected to it, buy for that. For a bracelet matched to your full chart, use our Kundli-based gemstone recommendation instead.

Can I wear a zodiac bracelet with a rudraksha or a prescribed astrological gemstone?

Generally yes, and many customers do. If you already wear a prescribed ratna, it's worth confirming the combination with whoever recommended it, since prescribed stones follow their own rules.

Do zodiac bracelets actually work?

There is no scientific evidence that crystals heal illness or change events, and we don't claim otherwise. What they reliably provide is a daily physical reminder of an intention you chose, plus genuine natural stone jewellery with documentation. They are not a medical device and not a substitute for professional advice.

Which hand should a zodiac bracelet be worn on?

Left is conventionally used for receiving energy, right for projecting it. There's no binding rule — most people simply wear it on the non-dominant hand.

How do I cleanse and recharge a crystal bracelet?

Rest it on a raw selenite plate overnight, roughly weekly. A selenite plate is included free with every round-bead bracelet we ship. Moonlight also works. Avoid water for Selenite, Malachite and Turquoise.

Are zodiac bracelets available for all 12 signs?

Yes — Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces, each in both the ₹899 and ₹1,800 versions.

Can I buy a zodiac bracelet as a gift without knowing the person's wrist size?

Yes. If the fit is wrong we remake it free and you pay only the shipping. Opposite-sign pairs — Leo and Aquarius, Cancer and Capricorn — are our most common two-bracelet gift.
