Important Information to Know Before Placing Your Gemstone Order

Product Description

Easily select the gemstone weight you want and the best quality gemstone will be sent to your doorsteps. Choose gemstone based on weight and the reference quality images. Our expert team will select the best piece for you from our same quality stock as shown in the image and send it to your address. We try accurate weight measurement, however since these are natural stones, Variation of +/- 0.25 Carats could be there.

Exact Gemstone Approval Before Delivery

The product photos and videos represent the quality you can expect. Since every natural gemstone is unique, the exact stone may vary slightly in colour, pattern, shape or appearance.

Our gemstone specialists will select the best available piece and share clear videos and exact specifications with you before dispatch or customisation. If you are not satisfied, you may request another selection. We proceed only after you approve the gemstone.

Laboratory Testing Report

The laboratory report will be issued for your exact gemstone, not a generic sample card. It will include:

  1. A unique report number
  2. An image of the gemstone
  3. Weight and dimensions
  4. Gemstone identification
  5. Treatment disclosure, if any

A complimentary laboratory test report is included with every gemstone purchase. You may also select another laboratory listed above; additional charges and processing time may apply.

Custom Jewellery Orders

Your selected gemstone and jewellery design will be used for customisation only after your approval.

Please request any design changes before confirming the gemstone and before customisation begins. If the new design costs more, the price difference will be payable.

BIS hallmarking or a metal testing report may also be requested wherever applicable. Customisation may take up to 7 working days, although simpler designs are usually completed sooner.

Returns After Delivery
  1. Loose gemstones may be returned in their original, unused and undamaged condition.
  2. Shipping charges and applicable taxes are non-refundable.
  3. Customised jewellery is prepared only after you approve the gemstone and design.
  4. Making, customisation, resizing and remaking charges are non-refundable.
  5. The value of the gemstone and precious metal may be eligible for a refund after physical inspection, provided the product is unused, undamaged and returned with the original invoice.
  6. Additional charges will apply if you request remaking or further customisation after completion.
Buy-Back and Resale

Gemstones and jewellery purchased from GemKrishna India may be considered for buy-back. The final value will be determined by our team based on the product's condition, current market value, prevailing precious-metal prices and physical inspection.

Repairs and Refurbishment

You may contact us at any time for repairs, polishing or refurbishment. Depending on the work required, the service may be complimentary or available at a nominal charge.

Ring and Bracelet Sizing

Please confirm your ring or bracelet size carefully before customisation. If you are unsure, request a ring-sizing tool for accurate measurement. An adjustable ring is recommended when only an approximate size is available.

Ring-size adjustment is complimentary wherever technically feasible.

About Citrine

Description of Citrine

Citrine is traditionally considered a powerful gemstone for prosperity, abundance, confidence, motivation and positive energy. It is especially popular among people who want to attract better opportunities, improve their confidence and create stronger growth in their personal and professional life.

In crystal and astrological traditions, Citrine is strongly associated with wealth, success, optimism and self-confidence. It is often chosen by business owners, professionals and individuals who want to strengthen their ambition, decision-making ability and confidence while working towards their goals.

Citrine is also widely associated with a bright and positive outlook. It is traditionally believed to help remove feelings of negativity, encourage motivation and bring a stronger sense of happiness, enthusiasm and personal power.

Citrine is the yellow to golden variety of Quartz. Its colour may range from a light lemon yellow to deeper golden, honey and warm yellow tones.

The appearance and value of an individual Citrine gemstone can vary depending on its colour, clarity, cut, carat weight and overall quality.

In Vedic astrological traditions, Citrine is also known as Sunela and is commonly associated with Jupiter or Guru. It is often considered an alternative gemstone for people who have been advised to strengthen Jupiter.

Treatment

There is no indication of any treatment in this Citrine.

Treatment should not be determined only from the visible colour or appearance of a gemstone.

Always refer to the laboratory report supplied with the particular gemstone for its reported identification and treatment information.

How to Wear

Citrine can be worn as a ring, pendant or other form of gemstone jewellery.

For normal jewellery use, you can simply choose the design and gemstone size that you find comfortable and attractive.

In Vedic astrological traditions, Citrine or Sunela is commonly associated with Jupiter or Guru.

The recommended finger, metal, day and gemstone weight may vary depending on your personal astrological requirements.

If you are purchasing Citrine specifically for astrological purposes, you may follow the recommendation of your astrologer or use the traditional gemstone weight guide given below.

How to Choose Gemstone Weight

If you are choosing Citrine for traditional astrological use, you can use your body weight to estimate a suitable gemstone weight.

To calculate the weight in Ratti:

Divide your body weight in kilograms by 12.

Body Weight ÷ 12 = Recommended Ratti

For example, if your body weight is 72 kg:
72 ÷ 12 = 6 Ratti

You can generally choose a gemstone approximately 0.5 Ratti above or below the calculated weight.

So, if your calculated weight is 6 Ratti, you may choose a Citrine between approximately 5.5 Ratti and 6.5 Ratti.

To calculate the weight in Carats:

Divide your body weight in kilograms by 13.32.

Body Weight ÷ 13.32 = Recommended Carat Weight

For example, if your body weight is 72 kg:
72 ÷ 13.32 = approximately 5.4 Carats

These calculations are traditional gemstone-wearing guidelines. If your astrologer has recommended a specific gemstone weight, you can follow that recommendation instead.

Care Instructions

Store Citrine separately from other jewellery whenever possible to reduce the chance of scratches or accidental damage.

Clean it using clean lukewarm water, mild soap and a soft cloth or soft brush.

Avoid harsh household chemicals, strong cleaning agents and sudden extreme temperature changes.

Remove gemstone jewellery before strenuous activity or situations where the stone may receive a strong impact.

Energization

Gemstone energization is a traditional or belief-based practice and is optional.

If you follow such a practice, first clean the gemstone properly and place it on a clean cloth.

It may then be energised through your preferred prayer, mantra, meditation or traditional ritual before wearing.

The exact energization procedure may vary depending on the astrological or spiritual tradition you follow.
