Updated 2 October 2026 for the latest version of the builder.

Before you design a bracelet, it helps to know what each step of our Custom Bracelet Builder does and why we built it that way. This guide walks through every choice in the builder, with worked examples, price examples and design ideas, so you can build a bracelet you'll actually love wearing.

Open the Custom Bracelet Builder in another tab and follow along.

The builder at a glance

  • Price: ₹999 for 8 mm beads, ₹1,249 for 10 mm beads. Regular stones, elastic and GemSnap closures, and the lab report are included.
  • Stones: choose 2 to 12 stone types from 61 regular stones, including natural 4, 5, 6 and 7 Mukhi Rudraksha beads, plus 12 premium beads priced per bead.
  • Wrist sizes: 3.5 to 9.5 inches, in half-inch steps.
  • Closures: stretchable elastic or a golden, silver or black GemSnap lock (all free), or a 925 sterling silver lobster claw or spring ring clasp.
  • Extras: brass spacers, 925 silver spacers and silver beads, 925 silver and zinc charms, and laser engraving on a GemSnap lock. Every 925 silver piece carries a "92.5 Silver" tag in the builder.
  • Included: an independent GJSPC lab report for your bracelet, traditional energisation, a free gift, and free delivery across India.
  • Before dispatch: we send you a photo of your finished bracelet and ship only after you approve it.

Step 1: Wrist size

This is the step people most often get wrong, so it's worth a minute.

Wrap a soft measuring tape, or a strip of paper, around the widest part of your wrist, just below the wrist bone, snug against the skin. Read where the ends meet and enter that number exactly. Don't add anything for comfort. We do that for you, and adding it yourself makes the bracelet too loose.

No tape at home? The builder has a free printable A4 ruler in step 1. Print it at "Actual size" or 100% scale, never "Fit to page", or the measurements will be wrong. Cut it out and wrap it around your wrist. If you're between two sizes, choose the larger one.

How we work out your bead count

We don't guess. The builder uses a simple formula: your wrist size in inches × 25 ÷ the bead size in millimetres gives the number of beads that sit exactly around your wrist. Then we add one extra bead for comfort, which gives roughly half an inch of ease without leaving a half bead.

Worked example: a 7-inch wrist with 8 mm beads gives 7 × 25 ÷ 8 ≈ 22 beads, plus one comfort bead, so 23 beads. With 10 mm beads, the same wrist takes 19 beads.

If you choose a GemSnap lock or a silver clasp, the closure takes the place of one bead, so the builder removes one bead from the count automatically.

Step 2: Bead size, 8 mm or 10 mm

  • 8 mm (₹999), recommended: suits most wrists, looks neat for everyday wear, and layers well with other bracelets.
  • 10 mm (₹1,249): a bolder look, good for larger wrists and a common choice for men's bracelets.

Natural stones aren't machine-cut glass, so bead size can vary by up to ±0.5 mm. We measure every bead with tools rather than estimating, so the finished bracelet matches the size you ordered.

Step 3: Choose your gemstones

You can pick anywhere from 2 to 12 stone types. The builder repeats them around the bracelet according to your arrangement, so even a two-stone bracelet fills your whole wrist. The round bracelet preview updates as you choose.

Regular stones: included in the price

There are 61 regular stones to choose from, including amethyst, rose quartz, citrine, clear quartz (sphatik), black tourmaline, tiger's eye, lapis lazuli, pyrite, moonstone, green aventurine, carnelian, hematite, labradorite, many agates and jaspers, karungali and an Evil Eye bead. Choosing more regular stones doesn't change the price.

Rudraksha beads: 4, 5, 6 and 7 Mukhi

Natural Rudraksha beads sit at the end of the regular stones, included in the bracelet price, and can be mixed with any crystal. Traditionally, 4 Mukhi is associated with knowledge and communication, 5 Mukhi with peace and spiritual practice, 6 Mukhi with willpower and focus, and 7 Mukhi with prosperity and good fortune. For a bracelet built entirely around Rudraksha, with lab-tested beads from 1 to 21 Mukhi, use our separate Custom Rudraksha Bracelet Builder.

Premium beads: priced per bead

For something special, you can add premium beads. You choose how many, and each bead adds its listed price:

  • Cat's Eye (Lehsunia) and Hessonite (Gomedh): ₹200 per bead
  • Dyed Red Coral: ₹250 per bead
  • Freshwater Pearl (cultured): ₹300 per bead
  • Ruby (Manik), Opal and Blue Sapphire (Neelam): ₹500 per bead
  • Emerald (Panna): ₹1,000 per bead
  • Irani Firoza: ₹1,500 per bead
  • Yellow Sapphire (Pukhraj) and South Sea Pearl (cultured): ₹2,500 per bead
  • Natural Japanese Red Coral 8 mm (Moonga): ₹7,500 per bead, 8 mm bracelets only

Treatment is shown before you choose

Every stone card tells you if a bead is anything other than natural. Three to know about: the Howlite option is dyed magnesite, Dyed Red Coral is dyed (if you want natural coral, choose the Natural Japanese Red Coral bead), and pearls are cultured. The Evil Eye bead is decorative, not a gemstone. Everything else is natural unless its card says otherwise.

Each stone card also shows the traditional intention associated with that stone, such as "calm & clarity" for amethyst or "grounding & letting go" for smoky quartz. We re-checked every one of these in October 2026. They reflect traditional beliefs, not guaranteed effects.

Step 4: Choose your lock

Locks are shown side by side in a simple grid; tap one and it shows "✓ Selected".

  • Stretchable elastic (free): slips on easily, no clasp. The simplest choice for most people.
  • Golden GemSnap lock (free): our signature golden snap closure.
  • Silver GemSnap lock (free): a sleek silver finish.
  • Black GemSnap lock (free): matte black, popular for men's bracelets.
  • 925 sterling silver lobster claw clasp (₹450) or spring ring clasp (₹349): a classic jewellery finish in pure 92.5% silver.

A GemSnap lock gives the bracelet a more finished look, makes it easier to take off, and is the only closure that can be engraved. GemSnap bracelets are strung on a strong stainless steel core, looped twice.

Step 5: Spacers and charms (optional)

Every card shows the photo, size, weight and price, and 925 silver pieces carry a small "92.5 Silver" tag. Prices below are at the time of writing; the builder always shows the live price.

  • Brass spacers: ₹99 for the set. We match the number of spacers to your design.
  • 925 silver spacers: 5 mm (80 mg) at ₹75 each, or 3 mm (40 mg) at ₹50 each.
  • 925 silver beads between your stones: flower spacer bead 7×3 mm (₹525), round bead 5 mm (₹699) and textured bead 7×5 mm (₹960).
  • 925 Silver Bead (₹999): takes one bead position in your bracelet.
  • Charms: 925 sterling silver star charm (₹499) and oxidised silver leaf charm (₹699), plus zinc animal charms (₹99) when in stock.

If you want spacers or charms in a particular place, write it in the Custom Note at the end.

Step 6: Choose an arrangement

  • Classic equal pattern: a balanced repeating pattern.
  • Alternating pattern: two stones alternate all the way around.
  • Centre stone highlight: your first stone sits at the centre, with the others grouped symmetrically around it.
  • Expert design choice: our team arranges your stones for the best look.

With 2 to 6 stones you can pick any of these. With 7 to 12 stones, our experts arrange them for you, because with that many stones a simple pattern rarely looks its best.

Step 7: Laser engraving (optional, ₹249)

If you chose a golden, silver or black GemSnap lock, you can have a name, initials, a date or a short message laser-engraved on the metal face of the lock. It isn't available with elastic or the silver clasps.

  • Up to 20 characters.
  • Engraved exactly as you type it: capitals, small letters, spaces, numbers and punctuation. Check your spelling carefully.
  • Adds about 3 business days, so engraved orders are dispatched in roughly 3 to 5 business days.
  • The approval photo shows the engraving, so you'll see it before it ships.
  • Because engraving is permanent and personal, an engraved bracelet can't be returned for a change of text. If we engrave anything other than what you submitted, we remake it free.

Step 8: Pick your free gift

Every order includes one free gift, and you choose it in this step. The options change as we add new products, and the current choices are always shown in the builder. If you don't pick one, we send a raw selenite plate by default when available.

Step 9: Review, add a note, and order

The order summary shows everything before checkout: your stones, bead count, lock, spacers and charms, arrangement, engraving, gift, note and estimated price. Below the Buy Now button you'll find the Custom Note (up to 200 characters) for any special request, and below that the optional Paid Add-ons, such as crystal trees, a selenite Shree Yantra plate and a 7 Horses frame, each added to your cart separately. You can also save your design to the cart and come back to it later.

Design ideas to get you started

These combinations use the traditional intentions associated with each stone. They're a starting point for your own design, not a promise of any effect.

  • Calm and clarity: amethyst, blue lace agate and moonstone in a classic equal pattern, on elastic.
  • Grounding, for men: black tourmaline, hematite and tiger's eye, 10 mm, with a black GemSnap lock. Our most common men's combination.
  • A gift of love: rose quartz and rhodonite in an alternating pattern, a golden GemSnap lock, and a name engraved on it.
  • Abundance and confidence: citrine, pyrite, green aventurine and 7 Mukhi Rudraksha, with brass spacers.
  • Spiritual practice: 5 Mukhi Rudraksha, karungali and clear quartz (sphatik), in a centre stone highlight.
  • Study and focus: fluorite, clear quartz and 4 Mukhi Rudraksha, with two 925 silver spacers framing the centre.

What happens after you order

  1. Beads are authenticated and measured. We use AAA-grade beads, the highest grade we stock, and every bead is individually checked and measured with tools before it's used.
  2. Hand-strung to your size. Your bracelet is strung one at a time by our artisans in our New Delhi workshop, never machine-assembled.
  3. Traditional energisation. Every bracelet is energised using traditional Vedic practices, included in the price. These are traditional practices, not scientifically measured effects. For more extensive energisation with a video, contact us on WhatsApp; extra charges and time apply.
  4. You approve a photo. We share a photo of your finished bracelet and dispatch it only after you confirm you're happy. If anything isn't as you pictured, we correct it before the parcel leaves.
  5. Your own lab report. Every custom bracelet ships with an independent GJSPC report with its own unique number. It identifies each gemstone in your bracelet and discloses any treatment. It's included in the price; there's nothing to choose or pay. If the report shows a treatment that contradicts what we disclosed, we guarantee a full refund.
  6. Dispatched and delivered free. Custom bracelets are dispatched within 0 to 2 business days (about 3 to 5 with engraving), with free delivery across India.

Returns on custom bracelets

Because each bracelet is made to your order, custom bracelets aren't eligible for a standard full refund. You can still contact us about a return or exchange; if we accept it, making and courier charges may apply. If an item arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, contact us right away. And if your lab report shows a treatment that contradicts our disclosure, you get a full refund.
